Our Mission

Luna Grata is founded on three intentions: offering high-quality dog products, giving groups of often overlooked individuals opportunities to use their talents, and positively impacting the world through our business practices.

Our Team

JD Ross

JD Ross is a passionate lifelong student of business, especially regarding the positive impact a business can produce when founded on the right values. He has an MBA from the University of South Carolina and spent over 30 years in the corporate world, leading efforts in operations, sales, and company culture in an industry that exposed him to a wide variety of businesses.

JD is now the host of the podcast Soul Minded Business. For more information go to: soulmindedbusinesspodcast.com. And in addition to playing a role in Luna Grata, he has launched a pickleball-related business.

JD lives in Fort Mill, SC, with his wife of 27 years, Robin. They have two kids, Lawson and Harper.

Tom Harvey

Tom Harvey is a husband to Ann, father of four adult children, and grandfather to one little boy. He and Ann serve as directors of Rainbows of Hope; a ministry of WEC International that serves as a resource for any WEC member who is involved in outreach to children and youth who are at risk or in crisis.

Tom's passion is that God's will be done. He loves assisting people whom God has given a vision for ministering to the oppressed (widows, orphans, prisoners, etc). To accomplish this, he, Ann, his sister Sandra, and friends have founded Release the Oppressed Ministries. For more information, feel free to contact him."

It also turns out that Tom really enjoys baking dog cookies and treats.

Sandra Trainor

Sandra Trainor is Tom's sister. After graduating from an art college, she worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, and website designer. She later produced design related articles and tutorials for online use.

Because of Sandra's love for dogs, she was also a trainer for a time. And another interest led her to take vegan cooking classes and start a vegan blog. You can visit her blog by going to: nowthatsvegan.com. When asked to be part of the Luna Grata family, she naturally agreed and provided recipes for dog cookies and treats.

Sandra and her husband David reside in Central Florida and have a grown daughter. For leisure, she likes to draw and paint.

Danny Hall

Danny Hall is a Scout leader and even charters multiple Scouting units through his non-profit, Rainy City Scouts. Danny is always seeking opportunities where he can work with and engage with the special needs community. One of his troops currently specializes in working with Scouts with varying challenges to help them to enjoy all that Scouting has to offer.

In his spare time, Danny is a Web Designer & Social Media Manager with years of sales experience. Any chance to get out in the woods and the wild is a great day. He also looks forward to spending his two week vacation every summer running a Day Camp for kids in 1st through 5th grade.

TJ Hall

TJ Hall is an Eagle Scout who loves all things dealing with the outdoors. From camping and backpacking to cycling and climbing, TJ loves going on outdoor adventures and on Scouting adventures. TJ is also a proud member of the special needs community. He has never let his diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder be a crutch or slow him down in any way. While he plans to take part in a two year mission through his church soon, he is taking time to start laying the groundwork for his future plans of becoming a Forest Ranger.

TJ volunteers his time at the local animal shelter and also works with Scouting units when and where he can.
